Published: · Source: mk.co.kr

World Bank Planet Vice President Guangzhe Chen said on the 8th at Sejong Convention that education and technological innovation are key elements behind Korea’s role as a growth model for developing countries. He said high oil prices triggered by the Middle East war are a burden for oil-importing countries, but could also become a catalyst for faster energy transition toward decarbonization. His remarks came in a discussion linking Korea’s growth experience with global energy-transition challenges. If high oil prices persist, oil-importing countries may move faster on transition policies to reduce energy-cost pressure. Source: mk.co.kr
