Public Fund Investment Risks to Be Shown at a Glance as FSS Plans Prospectus Standard

South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service said on May 12 that it will prepare a standard format so investors can more easily identify key investment risks in public fund prospectuses. The FSS is pursuing improvements to public fund filing descriptions together with the Korea Financial Investment Association and the asset management industry. The aim is to organize prospectus disclosures so important risk information can be seen at a glance. The planned standard focuses on making core risk presentation clearer in public fund documents.
