STO Survival Strategy: Financial Infrastructure Design Takes Priority Over Technology

The Digital Convergence Industry Association held a seminar on STO issuance and distribution ahead of the STO law scheduled to take effect next year, discussing how tokenized securities can enter the regulated financial system. Participants stressed that the key issue is no longer simply building better technology, but designing the financial infrastructure around issuance and trading. The discussion reflected the view that once tokenized securities move into the institutional market, issuance, distribution, investor protection and liquidity supply must work together. Speakers said tokenization should begin with standardized assets and that liquidity provision is central to market survival.
