KOSPI at 8,000 Still Has Neglected Stocks, Park In-hee Says Long-Short Matters
Published: · Source: hankyung.com

Park In-hee, chief investment officer of Seed Asset Management, discussed neglected stocks and KOSDAQ valuations at Korea Investment Week 2026, held on May 14 at The Shilla Seoul in Jangchung-dong. He said that although the KOSPI had moved from 2,000 to 8,000, many stocks were still abandoned by the market. The background, he said, was deeper polarization as money and attention concentrated in artificial intelligence names. On KOSDAQ, he argued that companies in key sectors had already risen enough and were not undervalued. For possible KOSPI peak-out risk, he emphasized long-short strategies with risk management rather than aggressive long-only exposure. Source: hankyung.com.
