Memory Supercycle Seen Continuing as Samsung, SK Hynix Targets Rise
Published: · Source: mk.co.kr

A brokerage report released today said the memory supercycle has not ended and raised price targets for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix to 430,000 won and 2.75 million won, respectively. The report cited Nvidia’s next-generation Vera Rubin as a driver of memory demand and described LPDDR as an increasingly important variable in the memory market. It also noted that Chinese smartphone makers are under pressure from memory cost burdens, while prices for 2-nanometer foundry and mature-process capacity are moving higher. The Nvidia-led demand backdrop was presented as a factor reinforcing a boom for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Source: mk.co.kr
