Botem-e Subsidy Card Access Expands to MG, Credit Unions and Suhyup

South Korea’s Ministry of the Interior and Safety said the dedicated Botem-e card service, linked to the integrated local subsidy management network, will expand beyond the existing 12 commercial banks to MG Community Credit Cooperatives, credit unions and Suhyup. The Botem-e card is used for executing and managing local subsidy spending through the management system. With the change, mutual finance institutions are added to the list of available card-issuing financial institutions. The announcement broadens the choices for local subsidy execution channels.
