Koscom said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Daol Investment & Securities on May 12, 2026, to promote a joint token securities (STO) platform business. With the agreement, participants in Koscom’s STO joint platform increased to 10 brokerages, adding Daol to Kiwoom Securities, Daishin Securities, IBK Securities, Yuanta Securities, BNK Securities, DB Financial Investment, iM Securities, Meritz Securities and Kyobo Securities. The platform is viewed as an alternative that can reduce brokerages’ initial system-building costs ahead of the token securities regime. Koscom has built issuance platform infrastructure with LG CNS, tested total-amount management with Korea Securities Depository, conducted a stablecoin-based atomic settlement PoC and joined the KDX consortium.
