Chicago Mercantile Exchange का संचालन करने वाला CME Group जून में ऐसा index पेश कर सकता है जो Bitcoin की कीमत के बजाय उसकी volatility को ट्रैक करेगा। Maeil Business Newspaper की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, CME Group Bitcoin Volatility Index यानी BVX तैयार कर रहा है, जिसे Bitcoin का VIX संस्करण कहा जा सकता है। यह index मौजूदा price-tracking products से अलग है क्योंकि इसका ध्यान Bitcoin की price direction पर नहीं, बल्कि price fluctuations पर है। यदि launch वास्तव में होता है, तो Bitcoin volatility को अलग investment या hedging target मानने वाले institutional investors की भागीदारी की संभावना पर नजर रहेगी। स्रोत: mk.co.kr
